Choose correct pronoun case (I/me, who/whom) based on sentence role.

Choose pronoun case by job, not by habit. Subject pronouns act, and object pronouns receive the action or follow a preposition.

Understanding

Rule: ACT likes compound phrases because they hide the pronoun's role. The fastest test is to remove the other noun and see which form sounds correct by itself.

The same logic helps with who and whom. If the pronoun is doing the action, use a subject form. If it is receiving the action, use an object form.
